AP YSR Matsyakara Scheme
This scheme was launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State on the occasion of World fisheries day. Under the scheme, Government will provide many incentives to the fisherman of the Andhra Pradesh state. This scheme is implemented because many times they are days on which fishing is ban. So, this scheme will help to provide the fishermen with their daily wages so that they can use it when they cannot do their work due to a ban.

Benefits Of The Scheme
There are many benefits to this scheme. The first benefit of this scheme is that the incentive will be provided to the fishermen of the state which will help them to carry on their day to day life even if they are unable to gain their daily wages. As announced by the concerned authorities almost 10000 rupees will be provided to all the fishermen while the fishing ban period is taking place.

Facilities Under The Scheme
Many facilities provided to the fisherman under the new AP YSR Matsyakara Scheme, such as:-
- Integrated aqua labs to come up in 46 locations at Rs 56.53 crore. They will test the quality of water, sand, feed, and seeds for the benefit of aquaculturists
- Aqua farmers will be provided power at a cost of Rs 1.50 per unit for which the government would allocate Rs 720 crore. This will benefit 53,550 farmers rights to fishermen on canals on lease at a nominal cost, provision of input subsidy
- The beneficiaries will also get an increased diesel subsidy of Rs 9 per liter.
Eligibility Criteria Of The Scheme
All the fishermen in the Andhra Pradesh state are eligible for this scheme. There are no certain eligibility criteria that have to be followed by any of the beneficiaries.
