Odisha Mission Suvidya All Details
The government of Odisha state has implemented the Odisha Mission Suvidya to make the poor people avail of the benefits of the facilities of education. The Odisha mission suvidya is mainly focused on the students of Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribes. The main motive of the implementation of this initiative is to get an IOS certification for all of the education institute that will provide education to the people who are economically poor.

Objective Of The Initiative
The main motive through the implementation of this initiative is to provide quality education to all of the students who are belonging to the backward caste of SC and ST. Through the initiative, an MoU is let down by the concerned authorities and as per the MoU, QCI would conduct a comprehensive assessment and evaluation of all hostels under the SC / ST department. As per the evaluation and assessment of the hostels, quality education will be imparted to all of the students staying there.
Cause Of Odisha Mission Suvidya
This initiative was developed because of the criticism that the Odisha Government and the SC and ST department was facing. The criticism was constructed on the basis of teen pregnancies that were reported in these hostels, implemented by the scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe department. During 2009-18, at least 17 cases of teenage pregnancy and 14 cases of mental harassment were reported from these schools.
Implementation Of Suvidya Initiative
To implement the Mission Suvidya successfully a non-government organization that is a well known NGO, the Akshara Foundation has stepped up to partner with the mission and provide quality education to all of the students who are studying in the hostels managed by the schedule caste and Scheduled tribe department. This step of the Akshara Foundation will help manage the hostels and provide proper facilities to it.
