Kaveri Online is the facility that will help the residents to register properties, land, and other relevant documents online without visiting the area sub-registrar’s office (SRO). Kaveri Online Services is the online portal for the Department of Stamps and Registration, Government of Karnataka. This portal is a successful initiative in the digitization of land records of the Karnataka Government. - then choose the length of time you have owned the property and enter property details.

Procedure to Generate Challan on Kaveri Online
- Go to the official website of the Kaveri online portal.
- The home page of the website will open on the screen.
- Then log in to it by entering your username and password if you are an existing user.
- If you are not an existing user then, then use the service as a guest user.
- Click on the Generate Challan option at the bottom of the screen.
- Then you will see a form, fill out the form by entering details like your name, email address, residential address, mobile number, etc.
- Also, give the location details of the payment office.
- After filling in details provide the purpose details based on the challan information.

Kaveri Online: Register Sale Deed
- Go to the official website of the Kaveri online portal.

- then register as a user on the homepage.
- After registration login to the portal by entering your credentials.
- then select the pre-registration input option for document registration.
- Then enter the data like the kind of document, the date of execution, the number of parties involved in the transaction, and the page count of the sale deed.
- Fill in the details by providing the buyer and seller’s identification details. Complete the witness ID information.
- Specify if the property is residential, commercial, agricultural, or non-agricultural. Include the property’s income district, the district in which it must be registered, and the SRO office closest to the property.
- Then, calculate the stamp duty fees by entering the necessary details like property type, the total area of the property, measurement unit, and the locality name.
- Now you must upload documents such as the sale deed, the no-objection certificate, address proof of property buyer and seller, and ID proof of buyer, seller, and witnesses.
- Then you must make the payment, for making payment choose the payment method by selecting Consideration payment details.
- The final step is to plan an appointment for sale registration.
- Go to the SRO office personally on the appointment date and register your sale deed.
