IBPS SO Recruitment
The Institution of Banking Personnel and Training was constructed to carry on the recruitment process for various banks in the country. Common Eligibility Criteria
Although there are different educational criteria available for different posts under this recruitment. But there is also a common eligibility criteria which must be followed by all applicants applying for different posts under the IBPS recruitment:-
- Applicants must be a:-
- Citizen of India OR
- A subject of Nepal OR
- A subject of Bhutan OR
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- All applicants who are not ancient residents of India or are belonging to the above-mentioned category outside India must have a proof of residency provided by the Government of India.
Age Limit
- Minimum age should be 20 years
- Maximum age should be 30 years
- Exemptions are provided in the upper limit to people belonging to certain castes:-
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- PwD – 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen – 5 years
- Jammu & Kashmir residents – 5 years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years

- On the next web page, click on the option CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Specialist Officers (CRP-SPL-IX)
- Another web page will appear.
- Click on CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION to register yourself.
- Enter basic information.
- A registration number and password will be displayed on the screen.
- Note the credits for future use.
- Candidates are then required to upload the following documents –
- Photograph
- Signature
- Left Thumb Impression
- A handwritten declaration as per the specifications are given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of documents (Annexure-III).
- Fill in all the details carefully.

IBPS SO Interview
After you have passed all the two exams mentioned above, you then have to pass the interview. Total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% for general applicants and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
