Under the one Nation one ration card scheme, the concerned authorities will implement one ration card for the whole of India which will help the people to carry out the activities of ration card in any state of India weather in Punjab or in Tamilnadu. This scheme or initiative will be launched to help the poor people who in anyway migrate from one state to another. This initiative will help the people so that they can carry out the benefits of ration cards in any state without any problem.

Instaling PoS machines
The PoS devices make possible electronic transactions in the ration shops. As mentioned by the concerned authorities more than 80% of fair price shops have operational ePoS devices installed in them and also, more than 75% of total electronic transactions are being done through biometric authentication every month. To implement the one Nation and one ration card initiative PoS devices and machines are a must in all ration stores. So, the concerned authorities have already said that they will implement PoS devices all over the ration shops but the village and the remote area will be a challenge for them.
