Type Of Pan Cards
There are two types of Pan cards as described by the Income Tax Department —
- A physical PAN Card shall be printed & dispatched to the communication address mentioned by the applicant in the application form.
- An e-PAN Card in PDF is to be mailed to the email id mentioned in the application form, only if it has been provided and is valid/active.

There is a change in the fees for online and offline Pan cards because the offline PAN card has to be delivered to the applicant’s address while the online PAN card can be directly emailed to the applicant.
