Under the AP Amma, Vodi scheme incentives will be provided to the children who will be attending school in the upcoming year of 2023. The beneficiaries will be selected among the mothers who will be sending their children to schools for the first time in the new year. All the poor people of Andhra Pradesh will be eligible for the scheme and a stipend will be provided to the mother of the child. Around Rs, 15000 rupees will be provided as announced by the authorities. The program is available to students from Class 1 to Class 12, whether they are studying in government or private schools.

the financial aid amounting to INR 6392.94 crores will release by the chief minister of the Andhra Pradesh state, YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy. this financial program of Andhra Pradesh Government is called Amma Vodi Scheme 2024 which is under the flagship program. The amount will definietly transferred to 42,61,965 mothers. The process of depositing the amount will be completed in 10 days. As many as 83,15,341 students of classes 1 to Intermediate are the beneficiaries of this programme. This is the 4th year of the welfare scheme which provide fianancial benefits to the students to get their education up to class 12th in private and government schools present in the state and also provides financial assistance to the single working mothers in the Andhra Pradesh state. Till this date a total amount of 2600 crores have been provided to the beneficiary.

Reinstatement of 75% Attendance Required
This year a total of 51,000 students will miss out on the scheme’s benefits due to the reinstatement of the 75% attendance requirement in schools. In Covid pandemic last year, a relaxation was given by the government but since the schools started in september 20222 till now continously, The requirement was reinstated by the government.

Mode Of Payment
The payment under the scheme will be done online mode that no beneficiary will have to stand in lines to get their payment. The concerned authorities will pay an amount of Rs.15000/- per month to all the beneficiary mothers/guardians whose names will be there on the list. The funds will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries so that they do not have to worry about the payment.
